Well the day of reckoning has finally arrived. The mast has been hoisted back in place, the rigging replaced, the house is rented, and the bank account depleted. Time to leave town. The only thing left to do is untie the rope! We will be heading out Friday, July 29th for the Bluewater Rendezvous and farewell to the Fleet at Saturna Island. From there we will head for Port Angeles to check in with U.S. Customs, before a sharp turn left at Cape Flattery and the long trip south to temperate shores. First stop La Push. Without being too maudlin or sentimental, we will be thinking of our family, friends, and acquaintances back home and afar,and wishing you all happy travels in your own lives in the year ahead. In the words of T.S. Eliot..We shall not cease from exploration,
And the end of all our exploring
will be to arrive where we have started,
And know that place for the first time.
